Burning waste at sunset in the jungle. The UK agreed with France to build a four-meter high, 1km-long concrete wall on a port approach near the jungle to stop migrants making it across the Channel to Britain. The jungle is an illegal shantytown where 8.000 to 10.000 refugees and migrants live while they attempt to enter the UK.
